Lorenzo Pellicioli takes IGT Chairmanship

The governance of New York-listed gambling technology group IGT Plc has confirmed that Lorenzo Pellicioli will take the remit of corporate Chairman of the Board, having previously served the role on an interim basis.

Updating investors, IGT concludes its governance leadership search, which was sanctioned this August following the departure of Phil Satre to NASDAQ casino and leisure operator Wynn Resorts.

Lorenzo Pellicioli the former Chief Executive of Italian publishing, media and entertainment investment conglomerate De Agostini SPA (majority shareholder of IGT Plc ) has acted as IGT Vice Chairman since April 2015.

Commenting on his appointment,Lorenzo Pellicioli said, “I am honoured to serve as Chairperson for IGT and I look forward to working with the Directors and senior management to guide continued success in the future.”

Supporting the appointment of Pellicioli as new Group Chairman, IGT confirms that promotion of James McCann to Vice Chairperson, and lead independent director advising IGT governance.

McCann has served on the Board since 2015 and currently serves as the chair of the Board’s Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee
