Choctaw Indians call on Betgenius as sportsbook lead for Mississippi network
The Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians has announced that it will launch its Pearl River Resorts (Philadelphia, MS) sportsbook proposition in-partnership with Betgenius.
The partnership will see the tribal gaming syndicate become the first Tribal Gaming operators to launch sports betting produce outside of Nevada.
Betgenius will work with Tribal Gaming technology partner IGT Group, as the comprehensive supplier of sportsbook provisions including price modules, risk management, CRM and live data feed functions.
Updating the market, Jack Davison, Chief Commercial Officer of Genius Sports, said: “By leveraging Betgenius’ expertise in sportsbook management and breadth of high-quality content, Pearl River Resorts has established a premium sports betting offering.
“The legalisation of sports betting presents tribal casinos with a major opportunity to diversify their revenue streams and take a leading role in the fast-moving, tech-driven sector of sports betting. Through this partnership, we are extremely proud to play a role in enabling the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians to be the first tribal casino to do just that.”
Further to the agreement, Choctaw Indians will utilise Betgenius as lead sportsbook supplier for its expanding Mississippi sportsbook satellite network, which includes the location at ‘Timeout Lounge’ at Gold Moon Casino and the Bok Homa Casino at Laurel.
Backing Betgenius as sportsbook supplier Neal Atkinson, Director of Table at Pearl River Resorts Sports Betting Operations, said: “We look forward to this partnership and are working with Betgenius to tailor their services for this exciting new Southern U.S. sports betting market.”
