Television network FOX Sports has signed a deal with Sportradar, a global sports data analyser, to enhance its data-driven sports coverage.

As per the agreement, Sportradar will develop new research tools, data products and machine learning technology that would allow FOX Sports to enrich their in-game and digital content with real-time and historic sports data via API. FOX Sports will also able to access the robust historic data sets and expanded sports league content on Sportradar’s research platform, Radar360.

Brad Zager, EVP, Production and Operations, FOX Sports, said: “Sportradar is in a position to provide information to our networks with cutting edge technology that is easily accessible by the staff in our production trucks and studios. This will allow our production teams and announcers to stay at the forefront of storytelling using new data and analytics.”

Along with empowering leading sports media clients with this platform, Sportradar has further invested in expanding their research support and content teams to deliver customised stat requests for clients and pregame notes complete with compelling information to enhance broadcast content and storylines.
