Catena Media appoints Erik Edeen as interim CFO

Issuing a market update Stockholm-listed industry affiliate publishing network Catena Media Plc has confirmed the appointment of Erik Edeen as acting interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO), succeeding Pia-Lena Olofsson who departs the company.

A twelve-year finance executive, Erik Edeen joins Catena’s leadership team from Deloitte Sweden, where he served as a partner within the firm’s business solutions division, leading a number of enterprise resource projects during an eleven-year tenure with the ‘Big 4’ global accountancy firm.

Updating stakeholders, Per Hellberg Group CEO of Catena Media informs that Edeen will take up the interim CFO position from 7 January 2019, heading up the Stockholm enterprise’s finance, capital planning and auditing functions.

During Q3 2018 trading, Catena governance announced that it had strengthened its executive management under the guidance of new leader Per Hellberg, seeking to diversify and strengthen the firm’s future growth options.

Strengthening its leadership, Catena confirmed the appointment of Michael Daly to the newly created role of US General Manager, in addition to UK executive Nigel Frith joining the firm as Head of Catena Financial Services divisions.
