#HeyHarry – BetVictor ups football knowledge by appointing Harry Redknapp as new Ambassador

Online bookmaker BetVictor will refresh its football image and content, appointing Harry Redknapp as new Brand Ambassador on a two-year contract.

One of English football’s most popular and opinionated figureheads, Harry Redknapp has managed six Premier League sides in a coaching/managerial career spanning 35-years.

The appointment of Redknapp as Brand Ambassador sees BetVictor marketing launch its new #HeyHarry campaign across digital, TV and social media verticals.

Matt Scarrott, Director of Sportsbook at BetVictor, said: “With his victory in the jungle, Harry proved that he is capable of bridging the worlds of sport and entertainment and knows how to reach out to new audiences. In the marketplace in which BetVictor operates, Harry’s experience and standout appeal are invaluable to us as we strive to capture new players and wider audiences.

“Harry’s opinions on football are respected throughout the game and his knowledge of horse racing, which is part of our business’ heritage, makes him a tremendous asset for BetVictor and our customers to tap into – it’s clear that Harry represents the perfect Brand Ambassador for us.”

Moving forward, Redknapp will be utilised by BetVictor marketing for football insights, content, social media campaigns and further representing the bookmaker at major sporting events.

Redknapp joins Ex-England football star Michael Owen and 23-time TT winner John McGuinness as fellow BetVictor Brand Ambassadors.

Redknapp added: “I am delighted to announce my ambassadorial role with BetVictor and very excited to be working with such an established brand in the sports betting industry.

“Football and horse racing are two sports that I am really passionate about and I cannot wait to help BetVictor reach new audiences – something I managed to achieve during my time in the jungle. Exciting times ahead.”
