Optimizer Invest appoints Grant Williams to lead Megalotto property
New Optimizer Invest property Megalotto will be led by former William Hill Digital Managing Director Grant Williams.
The Malta-based industry venture capital fund has appointed Williams to launch and guide its new global lottery online syndicate – launched at the start of 2019.
A seasoned executive in online gambling enterprise strategies, operations and marketing, Williams is a former William Hill executive who served as the FTSE betting group’s Digital MD (2018-2019) and Chief Operations Officer (2016-2018).
Williams has further industry executive experience, having served as COO of Gaming Media Group, launching the multi-market properties of PokerHeaven.com and The Poker Channel.
“We want to create a world-class interactive user experience for consumers online, and Grant is the perfect candidate to make that happen,” Optimizer Invest chief executive Petter Moldenius said. “With Grant on board, we can continue to create something unique and innovative in the market.”
