‘Deeper tech arrangement’ sees Playtech launch full casino suite across GVC properties
FTSE250 gambling technology group Playtech Plc has moved to strengthen its existing partnership with GVC Holdings, detailing that it has launched its entire casino content suite provisions across multiple GVC markets.
The expanded agreement sees the UK, Spain, Italy and Georgia, become the latest markets in which GVC brands will service Playtech’s complete casino games portfolio.
Replicating Ladbrokes and Coral customer engagements, in the UK GVC’s bwin and Sportingbet portals will feature an ‘exclusive casino tab’ populated with Playtech games.
Backing Playtech provisions, Shay Segev, GVC’s Co-COO, stated: “Our strategic partnership with Playtech goes from strength to strength, driving growth in both of our businesses. Playtech’s content has already proved hugely popular with our customers where it is already live and we look forward to rolling it out in further markets over the coming months.”
Entering 2019, GVC governance confirmed that the company would deepen its technical and technology led arrangement with Playtech Plc, the platform and systems lead for its acquired Ladbrokes and Coral UK assets.
In its update, Playtech confirms that it will further work with GVC on ‘upcoming launches’ within regulated markets for 2019 and 2020.
Playtech further details that it has begun working with GVC’s lead LATAM brand Betboo on Brazilian market projects, with stakeholders further highlighting a ‘significant opportunity’ in which to establish an omni-channel presence within Mexican and Columbian.
