Tabcorp appoints Adam Newman as group financial lead

Adam Newman – Tabcorp Holdings

Australia ASX-listed gambling group Tabcorp Holdings continues it’s executive leadership restructure confirming the appointment of Adam Newman as inbound Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Newman is set to join Tabcorp leadership this October, departing from ASX-listed home energy network AusNet Services, where he has formerly led all financial and treasury disciplines as Group CFO (2013-2019).

The appointment sees Newman replace long-term executive Damien Johnston as Tabcorp’s financial lead.

Tabcorp governance confirmed at the start of the year, that Damien Johnston would end his CFO tenure, choosing to retire from duties once 2018/19 financial accounts had been finalised.

“Following an extensive search I am very pleased that Adam Newman will join Tabcorp as chief financial officer,” Tabcorp  Group Chief Executive David Attenborough commented on the update.

“Adam brings deep experience in finance and operational leadership roles in complex environments.

During the course of 2018, Tabcorp governance has moved to refresh its ‘executive-level general management team’, as the Australian legacy gambling group absorbs and integrates acquired Tatts Group brands and assets.

New leadership appointments include former Sportsbet Australia (Paddy Power Betfair) marketing lead Luke Waldren as Tabcorp General Manager for Marketing, with  Patrick Mcglinchey serving as new General Counsel for the enlarged ASX enterprise.
