LeoVegas gets ready for Spanish market launch

Stockholm-listed LeoVegas AB has confirmed that it will launch its services for the regulated Spanish online gambling market, as the European operator prepares to enter its ‘7th locally regulated market’.

Issuing an update, LeoVegas governance confirms that it has secured DGOJ approved licenses for both Spanish casino and sportsbook provisions, with the company moving to launch its initial Spanish domain shortly.

Closing 2018 accounts, LeoVegas governance disclosed that it would enter the Spanish online gambling market, targeting a product launch by Q1 2019.

“The Spanish online gambling market have strong underlying growth with over 20% per year. The Spanish license is an important step in our continued expansion, in other Spanish-speaking countries, where we have already conducted test launches in Peru and Chile.”

As a key corporate directive, Hagman underlined that the Stockholm enterprise will generate +50% of revenues from its regulated market profile in 2019.

Supporting its regulated market growth, Leo Vegas’ licensing make-up sees the European operator hold gaming licences in Malta (EU), the UK, Denmark, Italy, Sweden, Ireland, the German state of Schleswig-Holstein, and now Spain.
