Betradar, the betting arm of sports data intelligence provider Sportradar, has added to its gaming portfolio after launching it’s ‘Virtual Football Champions Cup‘.

The new feature is set to allow operators to leverage increased betting activity which usually takes place during head-to-head football matches featuring Europe’s best teams.

Sportradar’s Managing Director Gaming Solutions, Frank Wenzig commented on the addition: “Virtual Football Champions Cup will allow bookmakers to add an extra dimension to their offering. It is a way for them to enhance the popularity of betting on the world’s best football teams as they compete this season.”

Betradar, who are underpinned by almost two decades of betting and data knowledge, offers a product portfolio which includes fixtures, live odds, esports and virtual gaming solutions. The diverse portfolio also stretches to virtual gaming solutions provided by the organisation which include a multi-competition Virtual Football offering as well as Virtual Basketball, Virtual Horse and Dog Racing and Virtual Tennis In-Play.

Virtual Baseball In-Play set to be launched later this year and Virtual Cricket In-Play next year.

As with all of its other virtual gaming solutions, Betradar’s newest feature follows a life-like template which features 32 of Europe’s top clubs compete in a group stage before advancing to the knock-out phases.

Wenzig, also discussed the potential benefits for customer experience, concluding: “The benefit of virtual gaming for operators is that it gives bookmakers the opportunity to add to their customer experience with high-frequency betting opportunities on offer around the clock.”
