Scientific Games secures BCLC Canada’s digital extension
Nasdaq-listed industry technology group Scientific Games Corporation (SGC) has announced a further major contract renewal, as Canada’s British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC) expands its lead services agreement for a further five years through to 2024.
Expanding its existing remit, Scientific Games’ subsidiary SG Digital will act as lead online sports betting and igaming systems provider for BCLC domains, covering all core provisions including player account management services.
Strengthening BCLC’s digital capacity, BCLC will benefit from full access to SG Digital’s ‘OpenSports’ product suite including promotions, scoreboards, and a seamless user interface.

Scientific Games has helped power significant growth for BCLC’s PlayNow.com digital gaming site over the past several years, and this will help us to continue to grow and evolve our customer experiences into the future.”
The extended agreement, sees SGC continue to its strong 2019 commercial momentum, in which during year-end trading the Nasdaq technology has confirmed lead systems agreements with Dutch lottery operator Nederlandse Loterij and new Turkish lottery incumbent ‘Milli Piyango’.
