Sweden’s Online Gambling Revenue Declines 3.4% in Q3 2019

Swedish Gaming Authority Spelinspektionen has reported a 3.4% month-on-month decline in the online gambling revenue for Q3 2019.

The gambling regulator posted SEK3.35bn ($344.4m) in revenue from online gaming and betting operations for the three months to September 30, 2019. For Q2 2019, the gambling regulator posted SEK3.47bn in revenue.

While the full financial report for the quarter is yet to be published, it is evident that the Swedish online gambling market has taken a hit.
