Dafabet accelerates Spanish drive with R. Franco Digital

Dafabet has confirmed that it will expand its Spanish market presence, supported by R. Franco Digital as its lead platform provider.

Updating the market, Dafabet announced that it has transferred its sportsbook and further technology provisions onto R. Franco’s ‘IRIS’ open architecture system, allowing for a better configuration with Spanish market requirements.

An established brand within the UK and Asian betting markets, Dafabet secured its DGOJ B2C Spanish online gambling licence in December 2019, joining a raft of new betting brands tackling Spain’s disrupted sports betting marketplace.

Dafabet has earmarked growth in Spain as a core corporate objective, establishing its flagship betting brand within non-Asian and European markets.

Dimitris Karatzas, CEO of AsianLogic, commented: “R. Franco is an established market leader with more than five decades of industry experience, so we welcome this agreement enthusiastically.

“As Dafabet continues to cater to an ever-growing army of fans, we look forward to a successful long-term relationship with the provider, as we look to develop our operations in one of Europe’s most dynamic markets.”

Meanwhile, R. Franco Digital considers Dafabet as a major client coup for the technology provider, allowing the platform provider to significantly expand its international clientele during 2020.

Franco Digital’s unit was consolidated from legacy land-based Spanish gambling group R. Franco in 2017, with a view to provide optimal igaming solutions for Spanish  language territories.

Javier Sacristan Franco, Director of R. Franco Digital, said: “Dafabet has already established its global credentials, so we are thrilled to partner with the company for its Spanish debut.

“We believe that this deal once again showcases our reputation as a best-in-class global supplier, offering a highly versatile portfolio of games, content and gaming solutions – each tailored to the needs of our clients and operators.
