Amit Ben Yehuda steps down from XLMedia

Affiliate marketing publisher XLMedia has confirmed that Amit Ben Yehuda will step down from the company’s board.

Yehuda, who initially joined XLMedia in 2016, will step down as Non-Executive Director of the Company with immediate effect.

Chris Bell, Chairman of XLMedia, commented: “I would like to express my personal gratitude to Amit for the wise counsel he has provided over the last four years, and also thank him on behalf of the Board and the whole Company for his valuable contribution during a time of significant change.”

Yehuda has amassed over 20 years’ experience across a number of high growth industries focusing on implementing strategic growth initiatives and executing significant levels of M&A.

Last month, the affiliate marketing publisher released a trading update for the first six months of 2020, showing that XLMedia has continued to battle the effects of a Google deranking, with projected revenues expected to fall short of previous quarters.

XLMedia explained that unlike some of its competitors, the January Google deranking has prevented the company’s casino division from being able to take full advantage of the industry-wide uptick in online casino and gaming.
