YGAM achieves City & Guilds status for second year
The Young Gamers & Gamblers Education Trust (YGAM) has been awarded the City & Guilds Assured status for the second year running.
Following a ‘robust evaluation process’, YGAM has chosen to work exclusively with City & Guilds for all their certifications, across all educational programmes and resources.
Lee Willows, YGAM Chief Executive, said: “Our team have very much enjoyed working with and learning from colleagues at City & Guilds. Listening to our customers they really value the City & Guilds Digital Credentials as well as electronic certification. We are looking forward to extending our portfolio of courses with City & Guilds as this year progresses.”
Over the last few months during the COVID-19 pandemic, YGAM has placed an increased focus on the ‘digital transformation of their resources’. The City & Guilds status comes as YGAM continues to ‘increase its growth and impact’.
David Phillips, Managing Director of City & Guilds and ILM, added: “I am delighted that YGAM have met the Assured benchmark for the second year running. We look forward to accrediting their training and development programmes next year as they continue the incredibly important work they do to support young people affected by gambling addiction.”
Caroline Gallagher, YGAM Quality Assurance Manager, concluded “As City and Guilds is such a supportive organisation, making the decision to work with them exclusively has allowed us to review and streamline our working practices, therefore enabling us to build on the quality and integrity of the delivery that the team have worked so hard to achieve.“
