Flutter appoints Greg McCaw to lead its global I&D directives

Flutter Entertainment Plc has announced the appointment of Greg McCaw as the FTSE100 betting group’s first Group Director of Inclusion and Diversity.

McCaw will work alongside Chief People Officer Caroline Ross, Flutter’s Chief in developing and executing the firm’s corporate diversity and employee inclusion directives across all-levels of the business – ‘from intern-to-leadership’.

A seasoned executive in HR planning and the delivery of effective talent development programmes, McCaw has formally served as Sky Bet’s ‘Head of People Experience’(2019-2020).

He will lead the development of a new inclusion-&-diversity committee monitoring the FTSE firm’s progress on key targets and objectives.

“I’m delighted to welcome Greg to the team. He brings a wealth of experience, which the wider Group will benefit from as we continue to shape our inclusion and diversity strategy. Our goal is for all colleagues to feel a shared sense of ownership in our business.” Commented Ross on McCaw’s appointment.

“We want to build on our foundations to be a truly inclusive place to work, one where the difference is celebrated and valued because it is only when we all understand the role we play that will we really shift the dial. I’m really excited about what we can achieve together.”

Flutter branded McCaw as the optimal candidate to lead its group-wide diversity and inclusion directives, with his previous Sky Bet HR programmes highlighted by the ‘All in Diversity Project’ as amongst the industry’s most forward-thinking on promoting workplace equality.

“Stepping into this newly created role is beyond doubt one of the most exciting opportunities I have ever embarked on. Already I’ve seen a willingness and commitment to developing a strong strategy for Inclusion and Diversity at all levels within this organisation, especially from senior leaders, where it can make a real impact” McCaw commented on his new position.
