EveryMatrix enhances social responsibility with Kids Academy expansion

EveryMatrix has enhanced its social responsibility credentials via the establishment of two educational hubs for Romanian children as part of its wider Kids Academy initiative.

The Malta-based iGaming supplier intends to utilise the two centres to provide high-quality educational programmes to children at social risk, with full-time teachers offering courses in COmputer Science, English and Maths among other disciplines.

“We have been dedicated to supporting educational causes since 2015,” remarked Ebbe Groes, Group CEO of EveryMatrix. “Kids Academy is a project I value very much and seeing the impact it had over the years makes our team here very happy.

“The activity in the two new centres will make it possible to aid even more children. Our teachers provide much-needed support and help the pupils have better paths in life.”

Launched in 2015 in cooperation with Child Protective Services, until the recent expansion Kids Academy operated three centres in Romanian capital Bucharest.

The programme operates with the objective of assisting vulnerable children with continuing their studies and gaining access into higher education, overcoming the hurdle of social inequality and preventing them from dropping out of school.

So far over 200 pupils between the ages of eight and 15 have been assisted by the programme, which EveryMatrix operates under the belief that investment in education can improve young people’s lives and assist them with breaking societal barriers via the teaching of hard and soft skills highly valued by employers.

Following the closure of schools in Romania and transition to a web based hybrid system due to the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020, Kids Academy continued to provide support to participating pupils through online classes and tutoring as well as by holding live workshops at the EveryMatrix headquarters building.

In addition to enhancing its social responsibility initiatives, EveryMatrix recently strengthened its market status in the Americas, opening its ‘Miami hub’ in the Florida city to pursue stateside growth opportunities, whilst also appointing experienced executive Staffan Cnattingius to oversee its Latin American commercial strategy.
