Virtue Poker is launched on the Ethereum mainnet; Paul Pierce and Mr. Beast to participate in charity tournament
Virtue Poker has finally opened. The ethereum-based decentralized poker platform announced their long-awaited launch today. Founded back in 2016 the team spent the past 5 years developing and beta testing their platform in preparation of their greatest moment.

The launch will bring along $500,000 GTD in launch promotions which will run from May 28th 2021 to July 15th
Paul Pierce & Mr. Beast
Scheduled for June, there will be a charity tournament which will feature 12 participants in a no-limit Texas Hold’em tournament. Players will include NBA Hall of Famer Paul Pierce, popular YouTuber Mr. Beast (60+million subscribers), poker Hall of Famer Phil Ivey, ConsenSys Founder Joe Lubin, Brian Rast, Ethernity Founder Nick Rose, SuperFarm Founder Elliotrades, Winston Wolfe and Ran Neuner. The three remaining seats will be given away to one community member each from the corresponding Virtue Poker, SuperFarm, and Ethernity communities.
The event, which can be followed on Virtue Poker’s Twitch channel and also on some of the player’s private channels. There will be two 6-max starting tables with three players advancing from each to the final table. The winner of the event will select the charity of their choice to receive the proceeds from the event.

Virtue Poker is a ConsenSys-incubated poker platform that delivers provably fair poker on the blockchain. The company is licensed and regulated by the Malta Gaming Authority and never has custody of players’ funds. The platform is to be the only blockchain-based company to be licensed by the Malta’s gambling regulator.
