XLMedia recruits transformation pro Nigel Leigh as new CIO
XLMedia has confirmed the appointment of Nigel Leigh as new Chief Information Officer (CIO) of the London AIM-listed digital publishing group.
An expert in executing digital transformation strategies, Leigh joins XLMedia’s executive management team from UK news publishing group JPIMedia, where he spearheaded several projects, which overhauled the firm’s multimedia assets and digital advertising strategy.
Prior to his role at JPIMedia, Leigh, the digital strategy of The Telegraph Media serving as Group as Head of Platforms and Digital Strategy.
The appointment of Leigh follows XLMedia overhauling its publishing strategy during 2020 trading to refocus its affiliate network on promoting online gambling services.
Last January, XLMedia communicated to investors that it was achieving progress on re-ranking its penalised affiliate websites of Casino.pt, Casino.gr and CasinoKiwi.co.nz on the Google Index.
