Patriots Quarterback Mac Jones Gifts Bitcoin to His Entire Offensive Line
New England Patriots rookie quarterback Mac Jones has gifted Bitcoin to his entire offensive line this Christmas.
After reaching out to Bitcoin Magazine on how to give Bitcoin as a gift, the young sensation took to Swan Private, the concierge division of popular Bitcoin buying service Swan, to do his Christmas shopping.
It has been a tradition in the NFL for quarterbacks to award their offensive line and showing their love for making sure they keep out of harm’s way during the season.
Jones said:
“I’ve been studying Bitcoin for a while now. This year I just knew I had to give some Bitcoin to my teammates. So I reached out to Bitcoin Magazine and asked for help on how to give Bitcoin as a gift.”
In total, Jones has gifted Bitcoin to 12 of his Patriots teammates, including David Andrews, Trent Brown, Yodny Cajuste, Yasir Durant, James Ferentz, Justin Herron, Ted Karras, Shaq Mason, Mike Onwenu, Alex Redmond, Will Sherman, and Isaiah Wynn.
In a video press conference on Friday, Karras commented on Jones’s gesture saying:
“He did an outstanding job. We got a big haul over here.
“One of the best efforts, especially by a rookie, to show appreciation and wish us a Merry Christmas. So, very thankful to him and very glad to be his teammate here in this Christmas season.”
Jones’ teammates will now reportedly hold Bitcoin for the first time have receive the Bitcoin via the Swan Black Card.
