Betfair orders full Carioca player pricing via Abelson Info
Abelson Info has agreed to expand its Goalscorer Pricing & Settlement (GPS) service to cover the Campeonato Carioca in support of Betfair’s title sponsorship of the Rio de Janeiro state football championships.
Market pricing expert Abelson Info has entered into an ‘event specific’ collaboration with Betfair, that will secure goalscorer prices via its ‘GPS feed’ for the 11-matchday coverage of the ‘Cariocão Betfair’ championship.
This week, Betfair announced its biggest Brazilian market commitment, becoming the title sponsor of the Campeonato Carioca – that sees Rio State’s 12 highest ranked football teams compete in the heritage league competition that has been played since 1906.
Betfair’s Campeonato Carioca market offering has been bolstered by Abelson Info GPS service and further odds provisions, that will allow Betfair to offer full player markets pricing across all championship matches.
Abelson Odds Head of Compilation Jeevan Jeyaratnam commented on the collaboration: “We are delighted to be able to help our friends at Betfair maximise their sponsorship of the Carioca.
“Our South American coverage has expanded greatly in the last twelve months. In addition to Brazil (Serie A & Serie B) we have also picked up the Argentinian, Colombian, and soon to come, Chilean, first-tier goalscorers.”
Rio’s football championship began last night with Boavista Sporting Club taking on city giants Botafogo.
