Manchester United & Tezos Blockchain Rumored to Have Signed Shirt Sponsorship Deal

English Premier League football club Manchester United has reportedly signed a training kit sponsorship deal with Tezos blockchain. For a figure of $27 million per year, or £20 million, Tezos will feature as the football club’s training kit sponsor.

As reported by the Athletic, with the Tezos’ sponsorship agreement, the most successfull football club in British history with 20 Championship titles, will replace the ending agreement with American insurance company Aon.

It is not the first sponsorship in the world of global top sports that Tezos has secured, should the deal be confirmed. In May 2021, Tezos partnered with Formula One team Red Bull Racing and also inked a deal with Major League Baseball club, the New Jersey Nets

Manchester United and Tezos have not yet commented on the recent rumors.
