Infinite Reality Acquires Esports Giant ReKT for 0 Million

Metaverse company Infinite Reality has acquired esports giant ReKT Global in a $470 million all-stock deal.

Rekt is a big name in the world of esports and is known for its teams, Team Rogue and London Loyal Ravens. Team Rogue is good for a total of 14 world titles and 23 major championships.

Set to expand its offerings, Infinite said in a press release that the ReKT acquisition is aimed at consolidating its entertainment and esports business into its existing platform, which includes social, gaming, virtual and remote production, non-fungible token (NFT) minting, content and metaverse creation.

Infinite CEO, John Acunto, said:
