Memecoin Shiba Inu Jumps 20% After Robinhood Surprise Listing
After Robinhood, in a surprise move, added four new cryptocurrencies to its offering on Tuesday, a new rally ignited with some coins making good gains.
The popular US trading platform added support for ‘Dogecoin killer’ Shiba Inu (SHIB), smart contract platform Solana (SOL), Ethereum scaling solution Polygon (MATIC) and lending protocol Compound (COMP).

SHIB was undoubtedly the biggest winner after its listing. The memecoin spiked almost 20%. Following a low of $0.00002198 to start the week, SHIB moved to an intraday high of $0.00002695 earlier today.
This peak was the highest level SHIB has traded since February 17.
It is not the first time SHIB surged after a new listing. On November 29, it made gains of 30% after US-based crypto exchange Kraken announced supporting the viral meme coin .
At time of writing, the memecoin, that is now available to over 22 million Robinhood users, is trading at $0.00002632 according to CoinMarketCap.
