Binance Moves In for Regulatory Approval in Germany, CEO Says

Cryptocurrency exchange Binance is working hard behind the scenes to obtain regulatory approval in Germany.

At an event in Hamburg, Germany, founder and CEO Changpeng “CZ” Zhao said that his exchange is hiring compliance personnel for its German team in hopes to be granted a license there. He said:

“Our team is definitely talking with regulators here.”

Binance recently got registered as a digital asset service provider in France and a license in Germany, Europe’s largest economy, could pave the way for other jurisdictions on the continent.

The world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, a year ago being scrutinized for not complying has drastically changed stepped up since it released its ‘Crypto is Evil’ campaign displayed page wide in several major newspapers.

The exchange was recently given regulatory approval in Bahrain, Abu Dhabi and Dubai, and is committed to securing licenses in the world’s largest marketplaces.
