GiG launches sportsbook and PAM in Colombia via Sportnco Gaming

Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) has inked an additional agreement with an unnamed existing partner, via its subsidiary Sportnco Gaming, to provide its sportsbook in Colombia.

Alongside its sportsbook launch, GiG’s player account management (PAM) will also be launched in Colombia, making it the third regulated market that provides both software and services to the client.

Hervé Schlosser, Managing Director of Sportnco, said: “The growing demand is a clear sign that we have created a sportsbook solution that is recognised as an industry leader within the igaming industry.

“It makes us very proud that a leading tier one operator has once again placed trust in our technology and services for another market. We are looking forward to strengthening our relationship with our long-term partner within Colombia.”

Sportnco is already active in Colombia with its PAM for another client, and this deal marks the first launch of the sportsbook in Colombia, allowing the tier 1 operator to launch with the full end-to-end software offering.

A fast growing market, the Colombian jurisdiction witnessed reported online gross profits at $420m, according to H2 Gambling Capital, of which 56% came from sports betting and said to be growing at 120% year-on-year.

GiG’s expansion into Colombia follows a busy May for the company that saw it strike various partnerships and release its Q1 figures

Kickstarting the month, GiG heaped praise on the strength of its media services division, which reached its fifth successive high in quarterly revenue and player intake.

It came as the firm stated it was looking to accelerate its short and long term growth following April’s Sportnco acquisition

Moreover, the month witnessed Rainmaker Network utilising GiG’s marketing compliance tool – GiG Comply – to scan web pages across multiple jurisdictions for content such as igaming codered words, links and regulatory requirements.

Alongside the aforementioned, GiG also announced partnerships with William Hill – launching its product in the Latvian market – and Angolan operator Full Games
