GG.BET signs commentator James Banks as new ambassador
James Banks, a familiar face to many esports viewers for his tournament commentary, has signed a brand ambassador deal with GG.BET.
In his new position, Banks will produce exclusive programmes for the esportbook operator centred around international CS:GO tournaments, leveraging his experience as a commentator, host and interviewer of professional players.
Described by his new partner as a ‘commentator extraordinaire’, Banks will publish unique CS:GO video content, organise online streams as a guest editor on the firm’s social media pages, host live broadcasts and reviews of events, interact with viewers and coordinate exclusive subscriber activities.
“James Banks is a big CS:GO fan,” said Dmitry Voshkarin, CEO of GG.BET. “He even used to play professionally himself. We’re all set and ready to support his efforts to help the industry and are delighted to welcome him to the big GG.BET brand ambassador family.”
Additionally, Banks will work alongside other GG.BET ambassadors on joint content projects and promotions, such as Team Vitality and Torte de Lini, the player name of Michael Yossef Cohen-Palacio.
GG.BET has highlighted Banks’ previous commitments in esports as a positive attribute in a brand ambassador, noting that he has had ‘a major influence on the CS:GO’ community and its growth.
“Over the past year, I have had the chance to create content for GG.BET at some of the biggest esports events around the world,” Banks remarked.
“It means a lot to me that the team as rooted to esports asked me to become an official ambassador, create content for them and share my thoughts, predictions and more alongside the likes of NAVI and Vitality.”
