In a major boost to its stateside operations, UK-based SIS (Sports Information Services) has become the first non-tournament esports provider in the state.

The company has partnered with fellow UK-founded betting firm bet365, which holds licences in both New Jersey and Colorado, and will leverage SIS’ Competitive Gaming esports services, operating from the company’s Milton Keynes and Salford offices.

SIS and bet365 are long-term partners, having signed separate greyhound racing and live numbers supply deals earlier this year, and the incorporation of Competitive Gaming into the global collaboration enhances both firm’s US activity.

Richard Ames, CEO, SIS and President of SIS Content Services, said: “We believe our end-to-end Competitive Gaming solution provides everything that a sportsbook needs – including the highest levels of integrity, frequent events, and superior margins – and that bettors in New Jersey will respond positively to bet365’s offering, starting with Ebasketball.

“We have made good progress to date in US with SIS Content Services Inc. and this new deal with our long-term partner bet365 is further evidence of our products gaining traction in this key market.”

Specifics of the agreements will see SIS begin by rolling out its ebaksetball product, as well as the firm’s H2H Global Gaming League, which hosts 150,000 events per year backed by a full end-to-end solution and integrity measures.

Included in the deal are SIS’ ultra-low latency live streaming, ESIC-trained referees, live caster commentary, on-screen graphics including prompt, form, player stats and results.

Meanwhile, for bet365, the enhancement of its partnership comes at a time of increased focus on North American betting markets for the Stoke-on-Trent headquartered global operator, closely following a deal with Massachusetts’ Raynham Park Sportsbook.

Michele Fischer, Vice President, SIS Content Services, added: “The United States is the second largest esports market and fastest growing sports betting market in the world.

“We are ecstatic to be able to launch SIS’ esports offering in New Jersey, which we see as the first milestone in our strategy.”
