Freemarket, a leading fintech platform for regulated B2B cross-border payments and currency exchange for small to medium-sized businesses, is continuing to push on with its ambitious expansion plans with two big hires.

Martin White joins Freemarket as Business Development Director and Kiran Ranu as Business Development Manager. The hires come after Annie Osborne joined the team as Business Development Director just last week.

White is a business development veteran with more than 30 years of experience and 23 of those in the payments space. This has seen him hold a variety of senior positions at Barclaycard and Pay Future, which has helped him foster strong relationships in the gaming and gambling industries.

He has been tasked with using his unrivalled experience and significant network to help Freemarket strengthen its position in the gaming and gambling sectors, both of which Freemarket has identified as needing its cutting-edge platform and suite of solutions.

Ranu has been working in sales for more than nine years holding roles at the likes of Trustpilot, AAT and TrueLayer. She has held a range of positions including account management, recruitment, leadership, coaching and new sales business development.

As Business Development Manager, she will work alongside White and Osborne to extend Freemarket’s presence in the global gambling and online gaming industry.
