Battle Stars on Android and iOS is the latest in the casual hero shooter genre from Indian gaming company SuperGaming. The game gets a new update this week that adds Cricket World Cup-inspired skins to some of its more popular characters. Along with this is the new Rumble mode that adds a layer of depth and strategy to the gameplay.

1. Cricket World Cup skins for Techno (Men in Blue/India), Zak (Smashing Proteas/South Africa), Lord Musk (Raging Lions/England) and Razor (Mighty Aussies/Australia). Wear your team colours in-game with these brand-new looks.

2. TDM Rumble Mode: this includes an updated map, a new ‘Pro’ control scheme and access to grenades.

a) Rumble controls: from manual aiming to improved joystick touch input, Battle Stars’ TMD Rumble Mode gives you greater control over your hero, letting you shoot and dodge with precision.

b) Mumbai vs Delhi map:  we’ve put together the best of Mumbai and Delhi in a single map complete with a makeover to make sure your encounters stay as fresh as you are.

c) Grenades: crowd control is a tap away with grenades. You can pick them off the battlefield to put a quick end to firefights.
