Authentic Gaming is set to make its North American debut now that the Michigan Gaming Control Board has authorised it to livestream real-time casino table games with live dealers from a Farmington Hills studio. This brings the number of live dealer providers authorised in Michigan to three, with the other two being Playtech and Evolution.

Underdog Fantasy announced Adam Warrington has joined the company as a consultant to help further enhance Underdog’s innovative responsible gaming programme aimed at providing users with the safest gaming platform on the market. Warrington brings deep experience in corporate responsibility and has led numerous social impact and responsible gaming initiatives over his career. Warrington most recently was the Vice President of Responsible Gaming at FanDuel.

The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) has called on lawmakers and regulators in the US to update existing sports betting laws and regulations to protect student-athletes and ensure the integrity of college games. The NCAA said it will begin advocating for updated sports betting laws in state legislatures to protect student-athletes from harassment or coercion, address the negative impacts of problem gambling and protect the integrity of NCAA competition.

Underdog Fantasy announced the launch of GuardDog, a pioneering investment initiative dedicated to fostering innovation in responsible gaming. Underdog is launching GuardDog with $1 million in initial funding to be used to support and accelerate early-stage startups focused on building new and creative solutions to address problem gaming and further responsible gaming.

NorthStar Gaming Holdings Inc. announced that its online casino and sportsbook will soon be available across Canada with the launch of NorthStarBets.com in the coming weeks. The company, which went live with wagering in Ontario last year, has now secured licenses to offer its services in every Canadian province and territory.

Partnerships

ODDSworks Inc., a North American leader in Remote Gaming Server technology and interactive content, announced that it has teamed up with Loto-Québec, to deploy its BETguard Remote Gaming Server (RGS) platform with proprietary and third-party game content in Canada. ODDSworks will be supplying unique and differentiated online casino, table, scratch cards and video poker games to Loto-Québec.

SB22, an award-winning sports betting and iGaming software platform, announced its latest collaboration, inking a deal with Exefeed, a best in class provider of a range of sports betting solutions. This partnership enables SB22 to offer customers an in-house end-to-end sports betting solution that includes sophisticated pre-match and live odds feeds, as well as large-scale trading services.

PrizePicks announced that the company has extended its relationship with the Atlanta Braves as the club’s Official Daily Fantasy Sports Partner to now partner with the Braves Development Co to sponsor The Battery Atlanta entertainment complex. The two premier entertainment companies will work together on unique marketing opportunities for sports fans in Atlanta.

SB22 announced a strategic partnership with BetLeroy’s, a company led by sports betting hall of fame inductee Vic Salerno. Together, the companies will launch an innovative sports engagement mobile application that features leaderboards, a wide range of betting options and a patent pending Apple Watch app.
