OlyBet Group announces the biggest Counter-Strike 2 LAN tournament in the Baltics

OlyBet Group, in partnership with Goexanimo, announced the launch of the “Counter-Strike 2 Baltics” tournament, an event designed to thrill esports enthusiasts from across the Baltics. The event will feature a series of qualifiers and a grand final with a 5,000 euro prize pool, the biggest among Baltic tournaments.

The OlyBet Group “Counter-Strike 2 Baltics” tournament will unfold in several stages, starting with qualifiers and culminating in a grand final in Riga’s Splendid Palace cinema. Competing for the most significant prize pool in the Baltics, the best players in the region are primed to demonstrate their skills. “With the first “Counter-Strike 2 Baltics” our goal is to foster the esports community in the region and offer a platform for local talent to shine. We invite players and fans to join us in this exciting journey,” said Liina Liiv, the Chief Marketing Officer of OlyBet Group.

The tournament will feature multiple qualifiers in each Baltic state – Latvia, Estonia, and Lithuania. Up to 32 teams will have the opportunity to compete in each qualifier. The core requirement is that each team must comprise at least three players from one of the Baltic states. “This tournament emphasizes our commitment to the growth of esports in the Baltics. It is not only about competition but also about unity and celebrating the best players from our region. We encourage all eligible teams to participate!” added Liiv.

The application period for teams from Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia will close on November 10. The qualification rounds will be held from November 11 to 12, followed by a “Last Chance” qualification tournament on November 25-26. All tournaments will occur online, and qualification events will be available on YouTube and Twitch.

The grand final will take place in the “Splendid Palace” cinema in Riga on December 2, where four top teams will compete for the 5000 euro prize pool. “Riga’s ‘Splendid Palace’ is an iconic venue and the ideal location for our grand final. It’s a chance for esports fans to come together, witness top-level competition, and celebrate the spirit of esports,” noted Liiv.

In addition to the intense competition, the final event will feature various engaging activities, VR competitions, and the opportunity to interact with well-known Baltic influencers. An after-party is planned at “Voodoo OlyBet Sports Bar” on Elizabetes Street 55. “We want to create a memorable experience for everyone who attends the final event. Beyond the games, we have prepared a range of surprises and post-tournament festivities to make it a day to remember,” mentioned Liiv.
